Indore Diocese Social Service (IDSSS) is a registered social organization under Madhya Pradesh Societies Act 1973, having FCRA, 12 (A) and 80 (G) certificates. The intervention of IDSSS is spread under 73 village Panchyat of 8 Development Blocks in 3 Districts namely Indore, Dhar and Dewas of western Madhya Pradesh covering 210 villages, including 50 slums of Indore city. It is the official social action wing of the Catholic Diocese of Indore, started in 1982. The registered office of the society at Indore. IDSSS is mandated to facilitate community development programme with the support of donor agencies either from India or abroad for the betterment of the excluded and marginalized people in the society. Its function are guided by the Vision / Mission / Goal and core values, elucidated in the Memorandum of the Association; under the guidance of the Governing Body, the Diocesan Perspective Plan and stated policies.

The Organization visualizes the formation of a just society of human beings living with respect and free from exploitation. Its mission is promoting holistic and sustainable development of people and their surroundings.

Our Goal

The goal of the organization is to enable the poor and deprived communities with enhanced skills of decision making, planning and implementation of programs that will improve the livelihood sources of women, children, small farmers and youth living in targeted areas.
